These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Athrx Studios website and services ("Services"), operated by Athrx Studios ("we", "us", or "our"). By using our Services, you agree to these Terms.
Athrvx studios is an unregistered company/startup/buisness to government.
1. Our services
Athrx Studios provides static website design, development, and hosting services. We build clean, minimal websites using HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript, and host them on our infrastructure. Custom domain connectivity is available as a paid add-on.
2. Accounts & eligibility
To access our Services, you must be at least 13 years old. By using our Services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must notify us immediately at hello@athrx.studio if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
3. Starter plan & hosting
We offer simple website design and hosting on an athrx.link subdomain. The free plan is provided as-is and includes:
- One static site hosted on Athrx infrastructure
- SSL certificate and global CDN delivery
- An athrx.link subdomain (e.g. yourname.athrx.link/or any other random domain with our subdomain)
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the starter plan at any time with reasonable notice. We will make reasonable efforts to give free-plan users at least 30 days notice before any service termination.
4. Paid plans & billing
Paid plans (Custom Domain and Pro) are billed monthly. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period — we do not offer prorated refunds.
- Refunds: If you experience a billing error, contact us within 14 days and we will investigate and resolve it.
- Price changes: We will give at least 30 days notice before changing subscription prices. Continued use after the change date means you accept the new price.
5. Your content
You retain full ownership of the content you provide to us (text, images, branding, etc.) for use in building your website. By submitting content, you grant Athrx Studios a limited licence to use it solely for the purpose of designing, building, and hosting your site.
You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on any third-party rights (copyright, trademarks, etc.) and complies with applicable laws.
We may display your finished website in our portfolio unless you opt out at the time of project completion.
6. Prohibited uses
You may not use our Services to host or distribute content that:
- Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
- Infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Contains malware, phishing pages, or deceptive content
- Promotes illegal activities or discriminates against any group
- Violates any applicable local, national, or international law
- Sends unsolicited communications (spam)
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
7. Intellectual property
The Athrx Studios brand, logo, website design, and original code we create are our intellectual property and may not be reproduced without permission.
The source code of websites we build for you is yours once the project is complete and fully paid for. Template or reusable components we develop remain our property and may be reused across projects.
8. Uptime & availability
We aim to keep hosted sites online at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure issues, or events outside our control may cause downtime. We are not liable for losses arising from service unavailability.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay for a paid plan, or if we cease offering the Services.
Upon termination, your hosted site will be taken offline. We recommend keeping a local copy of your site files. We will retain your files for 30 days after termination in case you wish to retrieve them.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Athrx Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services — including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or a notice on our website at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
